The road to entrepreneurship can be rocky, there are ups and downs, there are twists and turns, and then there are crossroads… that’s why it’s important to know how to navigate it to ensure you’re always staying on the right track.
Let’s say, you end up at a crossroad. You want to change your direction but you just don’t know how. There are so many things you could be doing and could do them in so many different ways that.. you don’t know where to focus your attention.
So, you try to do everything.
But here’s the problem with that: You’re splitting your focus and attention way too thin, and you end up accomplishing nothing. (Well, nothing worth striving for)
You know you need to choose one path, and although any path will get you there, how do you know which path is the right one for you?
Here’s the trick. You begin with the end in mind.
Ask yourself, if you could just wave a magic wand and set up a business and lifestyle of your dreams, what would you be asking for? The answer to that is the ‘path’ you should take.
Let me ask you this… “What would be the thing that would motivate you for the next 25 years?”
Not something that you think you’ll be excited to do for a year or two and then move on to the next thing. No. Something that fires you up and gets you so excited to the point that you can hardly contain yourself!
What is it that you would do even if you didn’t get paid for it?
For me, personally, it’s empowering people all over the world to create a life of true freedom and abundance!
It was a dream that I was born with, but later discovered. I know for a fact that it’s my purpose.
We’re all here on a mission to put a dent in the universe one way or another, to make a difference. To use our unique skills and talents to make this world a better place.
What is your passion? What is the one thing that would keep you excited and motivated for the next 25 years? What do you REALLY want it to look like?
Because you do have a magic wand, you know. And there’s nothing stopping you from making your next 25 years exciting.
